Books for a teenage girl?

Read books by Meg Cabot. I love the Princess Diaries series!! But it's NOTHING like the movie. It is so much better and isn't Disney content approved. (not that theres anything disgusting in it). you should read it, its really good(: some of my friends read Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars books, also. aside of chick books, i also like the blue is for nightmares series.
